Kara + Kody's Grand Rapids Wedding
I had been working with Kara and Kody for almost a year to plan the wedding of their dreams, when only four months before their big day, COVID arrived in our corner of the world. The State of Michigan was under a stay at home order for three(ish) months and only lifted (modified is probably a better word) a few weeks before their wedding date.
To say that Kara and Kody handled the situation with ease is an understatement. Throughout the stay home order, we had discussed many different options and possibilities and after rescheduling/reshuffling the entire wedding a few times, I worked with them to pull off their dream ceremony, planning to save the larger party for a safer date in the future.
While it looked a little different than we originally imagined, this day was just as beautiful and special as these two are.
